Do you plan on running at AMP? If your club, or organization has events scheduled in the upcoming season, do not miss this opportunity. You could be left out.
AMP will be conducting sound certification days. Register online now for, Saturday January 7th. These certifications will be held in split sessions, a morning and an afternoon. Mornings will run from 9am-11:30am, while the afternoon session will run from 1pm-3:30pm.

Sound Certification

94.0 dBA SOUND LIMIT

Arizona Motorsports Park ("AMP") has set a maximum allowable sound limit of 94.0 dBA for vehicles participating in any club, organization, or other event utilizing the track or Driving Pad.

AMP will be conducting Sound Certification Test Days for the purpose of measuring vehicle sound emissions, prior to participation in an event.

The next certification date will be Saturday 1/7/12.

Vehicles will be measured for sound while running a few laps at speed. Upon passing the sound test, a tamper proof sticker will be applied to the vehicle so track officials can readily verify that a car has passed the sound test.

Most streetcars and motorcycles with OEM exhaust systems will be at or below the 94.0 dBA limit.

Racecars, cars and motorcycles with modified exhaust or intake systems, MUST BE TESTED.

Be aware that certain models of Corvettes, Porsches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and some other makes, will not pass the sound test in their OEM configuration. If there is any doubt as to how loud your vehicle or motorcycle is, it is "BEST TO TEST".
