When we hear the word racetrack all kind of images come to mind like: crowds of people, full grandstands, traffic jams, beer vendors, T- shirt sales and very loud cars racing around an oval. You don’t want this in your neighborhood, I wouldn’t want it in mine and I don’t plan on expanding AMP into this.  My road course style track and training facility is designed for: car clubs offering driver education events with instructors, lapping days put on by sports car clubs, car manufacturer testing, motorcycle operator license training, motorcycle lapping days, teen driving schools, law enforcement vehicle training, and of course occasional sports car racing on the 2.25 mile, 40 foot wide paved track.
In 2003, sound was an issue. Since then this problem has been resolved with a sound protocol agreement between AMP and Maricopa County.  SOUND is no longer a problem.  In fact, AMP has stricter sound restrictions than those imposed by this agreement. These restrictions insure that AMP will continue to be a good neighbor.  It will remain my goal to have AMP be an asset to your community.
