Sound Certification

94.0 dBA SOUND LIMIT

Arizona Motorsports Park ("AMP") has set a maximum allowable sound limit of 94.0 dBA for vehicles participating in any club, organization, or other event utilizing the track or Driving Pad.
There are no sound tests scheduled at this time. Please check with your local racing club or organization for event dates and information.

Vehicles will be measured for sound while running a few laps at speed. Upon passing the sound test, a tamper proof sticker will be applied to the vehicle so track officials can readily verify that a car has passed the sound test.

Most streetcars and motorcycles with OEM exhaust systems will be at or below the 94.0 dBA limit.

Racecars, cars and motorcycles with modified exhaust or intake systems, MUST BE TESTED.

Be aware that certain models of Corvettes, Porsches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis and some other makes, will not pass the sound test in their OEM configuration. If there is any doubt as to how loud your vehicle or motorcycle is, it is "BEST TO TEST".
